Jada Cameron Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home - Columbia on Sep. 12, 2022.
Jada Briana Cameron was born 8:14 am on July 19, 2000, at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, South Carolina. She was the beloved and twin daughter born to Coretta Yolanda Cameron and Melvin Adolpus Trapp. She departed this life on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Lexington Medical Center.
Jada was educated in the public schools of Richland County. She was a graduate of C. A. Johnson High School Class of 2018. While at CAJ, she was Vice President of the Student Council and Senior Class President. She also participated in the local and state science fairs and was a member of FBLA. Jada worked as a supervisor at Krispy Kreme for three (3) years and she was a Food Service Supervisor at Prisma Health Parkridge Hospital.
Jada's hobbies included writing, fill in puzzles, reading, binge watching television, cooking, baking, spending time with family, and putting things together. Jade was always good with her hands, and very tech savvy. But what she loved most of all was being an aunt to Ky'Leeh and Kyree Jr. Jada loved with her whole heart. To know Jada was to love her. She also loved spending time with her cousins. She was also a homebody and loved being a snuggle bug with her mom. Jada would give her last to anyone, especially her brother, Kyree and her twin sister, Jayla.
Her dream was to attend Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, NC to major in Culinary Arts. Jada wanted to someday open and own a restaurant and bakery. She also had a desire to feed the homeless in our community and to write an auto biography on her grandmother, Barbara McCutcheon. Though she is no longer physically with us, her loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts and lives of all who loved and knew her.
Jada leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, her loving mother, Coretta Cameron; her father, Melvin A. Trapp; brother, Kyree D. (Wilmeka) Cameron, Sr.; four sisters, her twin, Jayla Cameron, MaKinzie Darby, Zy'Yana Trapp and Zion Trapp; maternal grandmother, Barbara McCutcheon, paternal grandmother, Gloria Trapp; Maternal Grandfather, Walter Mitchell of Goose Creek, SC; paternal grandfather, Melvin Trapp; nephew, Kyree De'Shon Cameron, Jr.; niece, Ky'Leeh Denise Cameron; three aunts, Jeanette Kelly, Sabrina McCutcheon, Sondra McCutcheon; Goddaughter, Journee` Wilson; Godmother/aunt, Lillie Atlas-Garner; great-uncles, Willie Cameron of Stone Mountain, GA; and Gary Cameron and Joseph (Marlene) Cameron; a host of cousins, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom the join the family in sharing the grief caused by her departure, but rejoice that she is Free.
