Jade Hill

Artist, and accomplished scholar, dog mom, and amazing wife, Jade Hill-Durichko, passed Monday, September 29th, 2025. Known lovingly as Kenza, and Jade to her friends and family, and "Ptichka" to her "Lovie," husband Peter Durichko. Recognized by all who she met, as a fiercely brave, elegant, gorgeous, and immensely loving, caring, brilliant soul.

Born in Winston-Salem, NC, Jade succeeded in all endeavors including her studies at Salem College, where she majored in Art and Psychology. A small town could only hold on to her dreams for so long, until she moved to New York, and began the next and most adventurous years of joy, love, happiness and travel.

All who were blessed to know Jade in any phase of her earthly journey are surely granted an angel as she transitioned to a beautiful heavenly home.

Peter and Jade met in April 2011, and exchanged vows in NYC on 11/27/15, creating a beautiful life, full of love, care, travel, adventure, family and friends, as they established a home with their two adopted famous, retired NYC bed bug sniffing beagles, Nemo and Micky.

Jade is survived by husband Peter (Lovie) Durichko, Grandparents Anne and Jesse Parks, and Doris Gilbert; Mother Vicki, Stepfather Brian Williams, and Father David Hill; In-laws Tatiana and Don Longo; Aunt Kathy Newsome, Aunt Cindy Hill, Aunt Irene Kovach; Stepbrother Johnny Williams and his family; and her special Goddaughter Remi Morrow-Hamm.

Jade's memory will also be celebrated by numerous cousins, loving friends, extended family, and all who were fortunate to know and love her.

In celebration of Jade's life the family requests, no black clothing.
