Jadine " Jane' " Cooper was born on September 15, 1945, In Bath, New York, to Mozelle and Nadine Cooper. She was one of eleven siblings and grew up surrounded by a large and loving family.
Jane' was preceded in death by her parents, Mozelle and Nadine Cooper; her older siblings, Betty Cooper and Willie (Carol) Cooper; and her younger brothers, Mozelle Cooper Jr. and Wayne Cooper.
She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings, Donna Nshom, Maryland, Cleveland (Kim) Cooper, Maryland, Phyllis Allison, California, Regetta Varnardo, California, Michael Cooper, Florida, and Carl Cooper, Washington D.C.; her four loving children, Patrice Cooper, Toroyl Cooper, Michael (Darlene) Cooper, and Symora Cooper; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her best friends, Katherine Rawls and Allefesh Wilson.
Jane' attended and graduated from Lincoln memorial High School in Bradenton, Florida. In approximately 1960, she migrated to Rochester, New York, where she built a new chapter of her life and became a long-time employee of Eastman Kodak. She was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.
Jane' loved life and brought joy wherever she went. She enjoyed tennis and football and was truly the life of the party - known for her dance moves, her contagious laughter, and her unforgettable smile. She especially loved a good game of spades and bid whist with family and friends, moments filled with fun, competition, and love.
Jane' will be remember for her warmth, her vibrant spirit, and the happiness she brought to everyone blessed to know her. Her legacy lives through her family and the many lives she touched.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, from 3PM to 5PM, with a service to follow, at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd.
Following the service, a repast will take place at the Carmen Clark Lodge in Brighton Town Park, 777 Westfall Rd, Rochester, NY 14620. If you have any questions, please contact Patrice at (585) 301-0511.
