Jai'lani Renae Brookshire

Our precious angel, Jai'lani Renae Brookshire, was born and passed away on August 31, 2025, at Odessa Regional Medical Center in Odessa, Texas. Though her time with us was brief, she left a lifetime of love in our hearts. Born to her mother, Jayden Aloise Brookshire, Jai'lani came into this world surrounded by love. In her short but significant life, she touched the souls of those who awaited her arrival with hope and joy. Jai'lani is survived by her devoted mother, Jayden Brookshire; her loving grandmother, Lacey Nutall (MJ Brown); great-grandmother Cynthia Whiteside; her aunts, Ceana Williams, Destiny Brookshire, and Brandy Rodarte (Juan Rodarte); as well as many cousins and extended family across the country who were eager to welcome her into their lives. She is preceded in death by her great-grandmother Gloria Johnson, great-great-grandparents David and Ella Brookshire, her grandfather Kevin Brookshire, and her cousin Chelsi Howard-all of whom surely embraced her in heaven. Though Jai'lani's stay was brief, the imprint she left on her family's hearts is everlasting. "Jai'lani was loved beyond measure and will forever live through us and remain in our hearts." Private services will be held by the family.
