Lorena Estrada Lopez

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the unimaginable news of the very sudden passing of Lorena Estrada Lopez, at just 39 years old. Her departure leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of all who loved her. Lorena was a devoted mother to her three beloved children: Serenity Renee Sparks, Trinity Jolie Sparks, and Julian Austin Soliz. They were her world, and her greatest joy was found in caring for them and watching them grow. She is also survived by her loving parents, Azucena and Vicente Lopez; her siblings, Veronica, Damian, and Vincent Lopez; and countless family members, friends, colleagues, and students whose lives she touched with her presence. Lorena lived with a heart that spoke louder than words. Her humor lifted spirits, and her laughter was more than a sound-it was a feeling that warmed the hearts of everyone around her. She had an extraordinary gift for connection, creating moments of true closeness and joy. She was also deeply dedicated to her work as a school nurse, where she cared for her students and colleagues with compassion, patience, and devotion. Her impact was profound-so much so that she was recognized for saving the life of a student, a testament to her unwavering commitment to others. As we navigate this heartbreaking loss, our greatest priority is ensuring her children are cared for and supported. In response to the many who have asked how they can help, a donation space has been created to assist with funeral and burial expenses, relocation and support for her children, and other unforeseen needs. Every gesture of love and support is deeply appreciated. A viewing will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 at American Heritage Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Rosary will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, 6:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, 10:30 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Midland. Interment immediately following Mass at American Heritage Cemetery. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the prayers, love, and kindness shown to our family during this time of profound grief. Lorena was deeply loved, and we are comforted knowing how many lives she touched with her laughter, her light, and her love.
