Jaime R Escamilla

On Friday, Jan 26, 2024, Jaime R. Escamilla, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend sadly passed away after a lengthy battle from medical complications. He was 67. Jaime was the first born son to Teresa R. and Rafael N. Escamilla, on June 14, 1956. Jaime immigrated to the United States with his parents and 3 younger siblings from Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico at the young age of 12. Jaime grew up in Placentia, California, graduated from Valencia High School in 1975, and went on to study Computer Technology at Fullerton Community College. After working his way up to become a Computer Technician, he met his former wife Sarah. They were married for nearly ten years before going their own separate ways. After some years, Jaime changed careers and became a Caretaker of the elderly, and also provided ride services to many people throughout Orange County and neighboring counties. During the late 1980's, Jaime met and was engaged to Maria and her 2-year old daughter, Yvette. Jaime took on the role of an active and loving father-figure for Yvette. Although Jaime and Maria called off the wedding, they stayed friends and Jaime remained active in helping raise Yvette like a daughter. Jaime remained a significant father-figure to Yvette until his death.
Jaime was well known and well liked in his local community as he regularly provided ride services to many in need. Jaime was known for his easy going, carefree, and friendly personality. He was a loveable guy who enjoyed telling funny stories, jokes, and dancing. Jaime liked collecting and repairing computer equipment and antiques. Jaime loved listening to his favorite music, Los Bukis, Juan Gabriel, Rocio Ducal, and enjoyed reading through newspaper comics and funny memes. He is survived by his five younger siblings, Yolanda, Rafael Jr., Olimpia, Hector, and Edith, along with his siblings spouse's, their children, and grandchildren.
The funeral and vistation viewing services will be held on Friday, February 2nd, from 3 p.m until 8 p.m. at the Arlington Mortuary in Riverside. Flowers and sympathy cards may be directed and delivered to the Arlington Mortuary on the day of his services
