Henry Jake Garza, 34, left this world peacefully on September 4th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at San Antonio Methodist Hospital.
Jake Garza was born on December 31,1990 in Del Rio Texas. He grew up in Ellensburg, Washington where he attended Ellensburg High school. There, he made life long friendships that are filled with incredible memories to last a lifetime. He then moved back to Texas later in life to be closer to family.
Jake Garza is survived by his mother Diane Beard & stepfather Cheyenne Beard. Brother to Lori York & husband Asa York. Uncle to Lasinda Rivas, Autumn Rincon, Justus & Alonzo York. Great uncle to Zinovia Guerrero; Nephew to Lily & Henry Davee, Emilio & Linda Garza, Juanita & Melchor Arredondo, Nancy & Marvin Hill. Jake has an abundant number of cousins & extended family who meant the world to him. He is predeceased by his father Daryl Hartsfield, his grandmother Diana Lopez and grandfather Emilio Garza Sr.
Jake truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, snacking while enjoying his favorite movies and finding the greatest passion in music. He was the most charismatic, outgoing, fun loving wild child. He was also a spiritual man who had complete faith in God. He touched many lives with his heart of gold, and always knew how to make someone smile. He will be deeply missed & never forgotten by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
