Oscar "Bebo" Sandoval Jr, 43, of San Antonio Texas, passed away unexpectedly on October 6th, 2025. Born in Del Rio Texas on March 26th 1982, Bebo brought warmth, laughter, and love to everyone who knew him.
Throughout his life, Bebo worked in many fields but found his calling in healthcare as a Certified Hemodialysis Technician. He was known for his skill, compassion, and patience - both with his patients and the colleagues he trained as a preceptor. An expert cannulator, he loved to joke that when he was working at University Hospital, they didn't need the vein finding machine named "Gordo," because like he'd say.. "I'm the only Gordo we need."
A true momma's boy and the first born child of Oscar Sr. and Maribel Sandoval, Bebo shared an unbreakable bond with his mom and family. But, his greatest pride and joy in life were his children, Oscar III, Damian Luca and Cassia Sandoval - whom he loved more than anything in this world.
Oscar was your protective, teasing, and always ready with a joke, older brother. He has two younger sisters, Jennifer and Marianna Sandoval, who he ever so proudly introduced to everyone as "These are my sisters and they're both Registered Nurses,"- always beaming with pride over their accomplishments.
Oscar is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Maribel Sandoval. Maternal grandparents, Medardo and Feliz Saldua. Paternal grandparents, Pedro and Ana Gloria Sandoval.
Left to cherish his memory is his eldest son, Oscar Sandoval III and his two youngest Damian Luca and Cassia Sandoval. His father Oscar Sandoval Sr. His two younger sisters Jennifer Juanita Sandoval and Marianna Sandoval (Juan Castañeda) and his wife Sheena Marata. Along with extended family and many friends who loved him dearly.
Bebo will be remembered for his big heart and his ability to make us laugh. His presence filled every room with warmth and his absence leaves a void that words cannot express.
Oscar was an avid sports fan, and in his honor, his family invites everyone to wear their favorite UT Longhorns or Dallas Cowboys (or other sports team) attire.
