Jake was born in South Korea on July 7, 2001, and was adopted by his parents, Bob and Paula Nelson, when he was 13 months old. Jake died as a result of an accident on April 17, 2024.
Jake attended school in Neenah and graduated from Pine Ridge Academy in Draper, Utah. He enjoyed fashion, thrifting, arguing philosophy, listening to music and hanging out with friends. He thought the world of his sisters. Jake cared deeply for his pets; they always brought out his compassionate side.
Jake was loved deeply and will be missed by his family, including sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, his Grandma Gloria Williams and Grandma Barbara Nelson, his uncles, aunts and cousins.
Jake’s legacy and generosity will live on through organ donation.
We would like to thank the staff at Thedacare Neenah ICU and the UW Organ and Tissue Donation team for their compassion, care and respect.
