Jake Weaver, 43, passed away on February 6, 2026 in San Diego, California. He was born on May 21, 1982 in Concordia, Kansas to Richard and Glenda (McDaniel) Weaver.
Jake graduated from Glasco High School in 2000. He then attended Cloud County Community College getting an Associate’s Degree in Business. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources from Fort Hays State University.
His true passion in life was his horses and acquiring his judging card for horse shows. He traveled all over and met wonderful people in the horse showing circuit. If you knew Jake, you know he never knew a stranger. He also loved spending time with family and traveling.
Jake is survived by his parents, Richard and Glenda Weaver; sister, Maria Bieker (Shane), nephews Colten West (Kaile Black), and great-nephew Quade West; brother, Bill Weaver (Patty), nephews Kreden and Sage and one niece, Graceyn; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Pauline Weaver and Harland and Alberta McDaniel.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial to the Jake Weaver Memorial Fund in care of Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, P.O. Box 606, Concordia, KS 66901. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
