Logan Shae Weaver, age 11, of Eula, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, in Callahan County.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, at First Baptist Church of Eula, in Eula, Texas. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene, Texas.
Logan was born on July 22, 2014, in Arlington, Texas, to Lauren Weaver and Cody Smith. She attended Eula Middle School and was a member of First Baptist Church of Eula. Logan loved to sing and dance, and her favorite color was purple. She enjoyed the beach, swimming, playing soccer, and especially loved her puppy, Muffin. Logan had a huge heart and loved her family fiercely.
Logan was preceded in death by her brother, Hayden Smith.
She is survived by her parents: Lauren Weaver and Cody Smith; siblings: Addison Smith, Kase Smith, Dylan Newman; grandparents: Mark and Susan Weaver, Shirley and Bobby Pettijohn, Clyde Junior and Deborah Smith; aunt and uncles: Evan Weaver, Austin Taylor, Nicolina Taylor; niece and nephews: Caroline Smith, Wesson Smith, Stetson Newman, Roper Newman; cousins: Carter Weaver, Mila Weaver, Archibald Taylor; numerous other cousins, aunts, uncles, and loved ones.
Memorials may be given to Lauren Weaver and Cody Smith and mailed to 11830 County Road 228, Abilene, Texas 79602.
The family of Logan Weaver wishes to extend sincere thanks to First Baptist Church, the first responders, and Logan’s many friends and teachers at Eula Middle School for their love and support.
