Marlon Dane Alexander of Abilene, passed away on February 5, 2026 in Abilene.
Dane was born in Abilene, TX to JR & Lou Vica Alexander on September 18, 1956. He graduated high school from Abilene High. He was a long haul truck driver for over 40 years with over a million miles during his career.
Dane was preceded in death by his mother and father, his brother Jay Alexander, two nieces and the love of his life Sheila.
He is survived by his daughter Amanda Goetz and 2 grandchildren JoyeAnne Alexander and Gavin Howell, his son Anthony Alexander and grandson Chandler Alexander, his sister Vicki Craig and brother Mike Alexander and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a gathering to honor Dane at The Zone 3112 South 27th St Abilene, Saturday February 14th at 5pm. All that knew him are welcome to join. Burial will be Sunday the 15th in Old Glory at 12pm.
