Jama Pippin

Jama Pippin, born January 10, 1954, in Anderson, Indiana, to Harold and Ardith Miller, passed away on September 10, 2025 at the age of 71.
Jama was a devoted wife, proud mother, loving grandmother, and cherished friend. She married her high school sweetheart, Gary Pippin, and together they celebrated 53 years of marriage. Jama adored their three sons, Tyler Pippin, Cory Pippin (spouse J.R.), and Ross Pippin, and granddaughter, Emma Pippin, all of whom survive her. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law Sherry Cline and Tammy Lykens, and a host of lifelong best friends.
Growing up in Muncie, Jama surrounded herself with family and community. She dedicated many years to her work at American Chevrolet and Cadillac and found joy in celebrating life's moments, big and small. Jama loved her family fiercely, and her energy and enthusiasm were contagious. She never missed a reason to celebrate, always bringing warmth and laughter to those around her.
Jama had a zest for life that extended to her hobbies and passions. She loved the golf course, friendships and laughter shared during long days under the sun, and all things water-whether it was a pool, the sea, a river, or even a backyard sprinkler, Jama's joy was contagious whenever she was near it. She never missed a chance to support her children and granddaughter, attending their sporting events, performances, and activities with pride and cheer. Jama also had a passion for bowling, always bringing her fun-loving spirit and competitive streak to the lanes.
Jama had a heart that welcomed everyone and a way of making people feel truly known and cherished. She had a special way of lifting others up, making each person feel seen, loved, and part of her family. Her benevolent spirit, generosity, and care will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know her.
Services will be handled by The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel on Saturday, September 20, 2025, with visitation from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., followed immediately by the service.
