James David "David" Addison, age 67, of Felton, Georgia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones July 16, 2025. Born on November 17, 1957, David was the son of June Addison and the late Oscar Addison.

David was a hardworking machinist and proud owner of Precision Machine Shop, which he operated with dedication and excellence for over 30 years. His work ethic, skill, and attention to detail left a lasting impression on everyone who did business with him. Beyond the shop, David was a man of faith and a devoted member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Addison, and his brother, Ben Addison.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Lisa Addison; his children, Amy Pointer (Nolan), Davy Addison (Neeley), Jay Addison (Ashley), Alex Voyles (Mallory), and Jennifer Deaton; his brother, Randy Addison; his fifteen beloved grandchildren: Ragan, Amilee, Ty, Jenni-Lynn, Gunnar, Gareth, Aubrey, Ashlynd, Reanna, Jaylyn, Piper, Annie Ruth, Hannah, Nicolas, and River; and many step children and step grandchildren. David was deeply devoted to his family and especially proud of his role as "Papa."

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date to honor David's life and legacy. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his sharp mind, and the love he poured into his family, work, and community.
