James Albin

James L. Albin, 76, of Tipton, MO passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics. He was born on August 22, 1948 in Iowa to George Albin and Edna (Miller) Albin both of whom preceded him in death. He retired as a mail clerk for the state of Missouri. He was a Charter member of the Tipton 1st Assembly of God, where he was active with missions all over the world. He was a very active and involved with the Moniteau Co. Historical Society where he worked countless hours for Veterans information and grave markers. He was also involved with the McClay home for many years. He is survived by 2 brothers, Lee Albin of Fulton, MO and Dale Albin of J.C. MO; Sister, Betty Sauer, Collinsville, ILL; sister in law, Debra Albin of Tipton, MO. He was preceded in death by his brother, Don Albin; 2 sisters, Ruth Jones and Judy Wilson. Visitation will be Wednesday June 25, 2025 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday June 26, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at the Tipton 1st Assembly of God Church in Tipton, MO. Officiating will be Pastor Donald Schutte assisted by Pastor Robert Toombs. Interment will follow at Hickman Cemetery near Clarksburg. Memorials contributions are suggested to the Moniteau Co. Historical Society or the Tipton 1st Assembly of God c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services of California, MO.
