James E. "Jim" Alexander

James E. "Jim" Alexander, 68, of Raymond, passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon, May 29th, 2023, on his drive home.
Jim was born January 30, 1955, in Albany, Georgia, to Perry and Betty (King) Mullet. A graduate of Fairbanks High School, he spent his life working as a welder for companies such as Jeffery Manufacturing in Columbus, and more recently Marysville Steel. A member of the local VFW #3320 and the Mid-Ohio Car Cruisers, Jim loved antique cars and enjoyed fixing them up. He was often found playing cards, especially poker, and he went camping and fishing with his brother, John. Quite a character, Jim had a great sense of humor, and was friendly with everyone he ever met.
Jim is survived by his mother, Betty; siblings, Richard (Sue) Alexander, John Alexander, Nancy Ronk and Kathy Mullet Holden; former special friend Debbie Alexander; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Along with his father, Perry, Jim was also preceded in death by his adopted father, Robert Lee "Bob" Alexander; and siblings Bill and Joe Alexander.
Graveside services celebrating Jim's life will be held 2 pm Wednesday, June 7th, 2023, at York Township Cemetery with Rev. Paul Reynolds officiating. Ingram Funeral Home is honored to serve Jim's family, and condolences may be expressed to them at www.IngramFuneralService.com.
