James "Lil Man" Edwards was born to James Allen Ray Jack and Judy Gail Edwards on July 19, 1978. He departed this life on November 5, 2023, at 7:27 am at Baton Rouge General Mid City, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Lil Man, as he was affectionally called, enjoyed cooking, fishing, cutting grass, and helping others. He was the life of any function, always joking and mingling with family and friends.
James leaves to cherish his precious memories his parents; Judy Gail Edwards and James Allen Ray Jack and Donald Ray Bradley who loved him as his own; his children Starlacia and Tyrese; two brothers, Adriran D. Edwards, Sr. (Donyel) of Morganza, Louisiana and Ray Allen Parker of New Roads, Louisiana; four sisters, Terry L. E. Houston (Anthony Sr.) of Morganza, Louisiana, Kyeisha Edwards (Alicia) of New Roads, Louisiana, Felicia Parker and Rashell Parker both of New Roads, Louisiana; a Special Friend Jennifer Johnson of New Roads, Louisiana; seven aunts, three uncles, seven nieces, thirteen nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
James is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur Edwards, Sr. and Velma Fountain; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Emma Jack; niece Dayanna "Emma" McVay; ne[hew, DeCodty Joseph; aunts Mary Ann Gillard and Hazel Mae Noil; uncles, Joseph Fountain, Matthew Fountain and Charlie Noil; and a host of cousins other relatives and friends.
