With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of James Owen Bond (born December 31, 1940), who passed away on March 15, 2026, and his beloved wife, Mary Ann Bond (born April 2, 1941), who followed on March 23, 2026. Devoted to one another throughout their lives, they are now reunited in eternal rest.

James and Mary Ann shared a remarkable love story that spanned 64 years of marriage-a true partnership built on commitment, respect, and unwavering devotion. Their journey together was marked by countless memories, laughter, and the quiet strength of a bond that carried them through every season of life.

James proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring with honor as a Master Sergeant. His service reflected his discipline, strength, and dedication-qualities that carried into every aspect of his life. He will be remembered for his reliability, quiet strength, and steadfast commitment to his family.

Mary Ann will be cherished for her warmth, kindness, and nurturing spirit. She had a natural way of making others feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Her compassion and gentle presence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Together, they created a home filled with love, where family was always the center of their world. Their legacy lives on through their loving children: daughter Denise, and sons Jim and Matthew Bond. They also leave behind extended family, friends, and all those who were touched by their lives.

A joint service celebrating their lives will be held at Pikes Peak National Cemetery on April 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and honor of a love that will never fade.

Though they have left this world, their bond remains-an enduring testament to a lifetime of love that continues beyond this life.
