A Celebration of Life Service for James Paul Anderson, age 39 of Tyler, Texas, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Kinzie Community Center, 912 Mt Sylvan St. Lindale, Texas 75771, with Pastor Ike Roberts officiating. A reception will follow the service for friends and family that wish to attend. James passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He was born on November 21, 1985, in Tyler, Texas. James was a longtime resident of Tyler and was previously of Houston. He worked for two years at the Santa Fe Junior High as a SPED Teacher in Cleveland Texas. and was the head of his department. Previously he was employed by Knight Transportation. In his spare time James was an avid reader, enjoyed sharing the love of reading with his son James Robert, the challenge of playing chess, running marathons, officiating soccer, and entertaining with his balloon artistry. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Shirley Anderson; Maternal grandmother Tomie Revell, son, James Robert Anderson; brothers, Isaac Anderson, Joseph and Stephanie Martinez and Johnny and Melanie Martinez; and numerous other loving family members and friends. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions be made to your local food pantry or homeless shelter.
