James Aspell Obituary
Jim Aspell was a quiet man. A calm and steadfast presence that brought comfort to many. He was a role model for his son. A hero to his daughter. A legend to his grandsons. He was, and remains, the everlasting love of his wife of forty-two years. Still.
Jim wouldn't want us to make a fuss. He wasn't a fan of being the center of attention. He'd rather stand in the background, lending his calming presence to support and uplift the people around him. He'd rather sit back and make quiet jokes, or wrap an arm around your shoulders in a comforting squeeze. He was always there when you needed him.
-He was a good man-a great husband and father, an amazing granddaddy, and a good friend. He will be missed so very, very much. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.

We're so shocked to hear about Jim. He was always my go to man with any parts question or everyday problem. He cared and listened and offered advice. He will be missed. Our prayers go to Deborah and family. Jerry and Pam Holdren

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing , he was a good man and a good coworker that I had the pleasure to work with for 30years at Rutrough Mack and Virginia Truck Center and he surely will be missed but not forgotten. God speed.
