On July 31, 2023 James L. Bailey passed away. He was born on December 13, 1934 to the late George and Evelyn Bailey; beloved husband of 67 years of Patricia Bailey; loving father of Cathy O'Dea and her husband Tom, Lisa Dorr and her husband Ron, Janet Kuhn and her husband John and the late James L. Bailey, II and his wife Karen; cherished grandfather of TJ and his wife Chrissy, Jamie, Catie and her husband Bobby, Erin, John, Jr. and his wife Bonnie, April, and Abby; great grandfather of Chris, Tommy, Zack, Tally, Jordan, and Lilly; he was preceded in death by his dear brothers: Mehrle, Donald, Robert, Raymond, & Daniel; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Family members and friends will gather in our Arbutus location on Friday August 4, 2023 from 5-8PM and on Saturday August 5, 2023 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church from 10am-11am immediately prior to the funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 11am. The interment will follow in the Loudon Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church or
Gilchrist Hospice-Towson.
