James R. Bailey

James R. "Jim" Bailey, 90, of Lewistown, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at William Penn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born May 12, 1935, in Mifflintown. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Louise "Peggy" Bailey, on May 18, 2021, as well as numerous siblings. He is survived by his son, Robert Bailey and his life companion, Tammy Henry, of Lewistown, along with several nieces and nephews. Jim was employed for many years at Lewistown Specialty Yarns, from which he later retired. He was a proud member of the Yeagertown Fire Company and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4294, where he enjoyed spending time with friends and fellow members. Per his wishes, no services will be held.
