James Baker Obituary
James Roger Baker, age 63, of Lac Courte Oreilles, WI, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026.
James was born June 6, 1962, in Hayward, son of Patricia Belille & William Frank Belille.
James is survived by his sons Anthony Hollen, and Jeremy Charles Hollen; mother Patricia Belille; uncle Roger (Rae) Baker; sister Lorraine Gouge'; grandchildren Jeremy William Hollen and Rodney James Hollen; and many nephews & nieces.
James is preceded in death by his best friend Stuart Belille; father William Frank Belille; auntie Bonnie Belille, auntie, Theresa Bennett; and grandparents Franklin and Martina Baker.
Tribal Funeral Rites will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 6, 2026, at Pineview Funeral Service, Hayward WI. Zac Early will officiate. Burial will be in Chief Lake Indian Burial Grounds. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Pineview Funeral Service.
Honorary casket bearers will be Brianna Gouge, Gloria Belille, Larry Taylor, Gary Belille Sr., Martina Baker, Natum Wesaw and Veva Gonzalez.
Casket bearers will be Samuel Gonzalez, Charles Smart, Robert Hammond Jr., Anthony Gouge', Joseph Gouge, and Gary Belille.
