James P. Barker, 69, of Lake in the Hills, died peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Barrington.
James was born in Oak Park on June 29, 1956, to parents James Patrick Barker and Helen Jospehine (nee Wagner) Winslow.
James loved his house and took great care of his home and garden. His family meant everything to him, and he was especially fond of his dog, Huntley.
He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
James is survived by his siblings, Dawn Plamann, Karen Lapcewich, and William Winslow, and his nephew, Michael Plamann.
