James Barr Obituary
Charlie is survived by his wife, Debra Sendling Barr; children: Jamie Barr and his significant other, Beth Cumberledge of Lumberport and Ashley Drain and husband Thomas of Flemington; grandchildren: Katelyn Jones and husband Tyler, Jacob Barr and wife Hannah, Jamala Barr, Alyssa Barr, McKenzie Barr, Mickayla Drain, Justice Watson, Katie Gallo, Ethan Cumberledge, and Carmine Tresize; great-grandchildren: Luke, and two more on the way; several in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Barr.
Charlie retired from Harrison Power and previously worked at Fixed Wings and Bank One as a security guard. He attended Higher Rock Church in Haywood. Charlie enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and playing guitar.
Friends will be received at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike Street Shinnston, on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Pastor Tim Sandy will officiate the service. Interment will follow at the Lumberport Lions Club Cemetery. Online memories and condolences can be shared with the family at www.PerineFunerals.com.
