James Barry Obituary

James (Jimmy) Barry, beloved son of James and Lisa, brother of Brianne and Amanda, grandson of deceased Michael and Theresa Barry and Frank and Mary LaScalla, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graduate of Poly Prep and Susquehanna University, where he played football, was the captain of his college team in his Junior and Senior seasons. Played football professionally in Finland upon graduating from college and returned home to begin a career in Real Estate, working for several agencies on Staten Island, Brooklyn and in Manhattan at Nest Seekers - Masters Division at the time of his death.
James was an avid photographer, drone operator and creative entrepreneur in addition to his real estate career.
His creativity set him apart and was a friend to many people from all different backgrounds and has made a lasting impact on many lives in his 31 short years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Arrangements include private cremation.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
