James F. Bauer

James ‘Fred’ Bauer, retired after years of meaningful hard work and dedication for his family around facilities and maintenance field. A resident of Pine Bush, NY; formerly of Peekskill, NY.

Fred passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at his home in Pine Bush, NY; at the age of 72. He was born on August 20, 1952 in Peekskill, NY, son of the late Charles & Lucy Lillian (nee Conklin) Bauer. 

Fred is survived by his son, Mark Bauer of Slate Hill, NY; his two step-sons, Edward Heady and Michael Heady; his step-daughter, Tammy Martin and her husband Michael Martin Jr.. He is also survived by his three granddaughters Victoria Bauer and Samantha Bauer, both of Slate Hill, NY; Molly Martin of Pine Bush, NY. His six grandsons Mackenzie, Jacob, Kurtis, Michael, Theodore, Calvin Levi. 

Fred is also survived by his three sisters, Donna Sinanan, Denise Rojas and Jenny Bauer; his two brothers, Doug Bauer and George Bauer; and his several nieces and nephews. 

Along with his beloved parents, Fred was predeceased by his partner Patricia Mackey; his two sisters, Debbie Garcia and Penny DeSantos, and his brother Charles Bauer.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, New York. His Family will gather privately to bid farewell. Interment will be private at the discretion of his family. His remains will be joined with his dear Patricia. A Memorial Gathering to celebrate His Life will be planned for a future date.
