James "Cyle" Beatty, 38, of Roseboro passed away Dec. 27, 2025 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He is now at peace after years of health struggles.
Before Cyle's health decline, he worked for Highland Paving for years. After that, he owned a construction business. Cyle was very talented and could build anything. Throughout his struggles over the years, Cyle still found the time to joke, make people laugh, and pick with people.
Cyle was the son of Jimmy Beatty of Roseboro and Billie Joe Harris Vesely of Council. Cyle has two children, Cali Beatty and Cole Beatty of Roseboro. Cyle was preceded in death by his grandfather Billy Wayne Harris. He is survived by his grandparents, J.M. and Linda Beatty of Roseboro and Joyce and Wade Musselwhite of Council. He is also survived by a sister, brother, aunts, uncles and nephews.
A private family gathering will take place at a later date.

Nephew, you are gone, but won´t be forgotten. I am grateful for the 38 years, that you were on this earth. I will never forgot how funny you could be and that big smile. You told me a couple years ago, something that has stuck with me. Aunt Lisa, you have to put the I in front of love you, to really mean it. Cyle, I do love you and may you RIP.

A limb has fallen from our family tree. That says grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong.
