James Douglas "Jim" Beesley, 74 years of age, of Pampa, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 6, 2026, at his home while surrounded by family.
James Douglas was born to James Thomas Beesley and Francis Henson Beesley on March 19th, 1951, in Wheeler, Texas. He graduated from Pampa High School in 1969 and attended West Texas State University for two years. In the summer of 1970, Jim met Lori and their first date was at the Pampa carnival then, in August of 1971, he and Lori Rodgers exchanged vows in holy matrimony and recently celebrated 54 years of marriage. Jim worked in the oilfield industry for 35 years at Superior Supply, Red Man Pipe Supply, and WB Supply. He cherished his faith in God and valued his family deeply.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Gertie Henson McCoy; his father, James Thomas Beesley; his mother, Francis Henson Beesley; a sister, June Hardin; brother, Tom Beesley, and great-grandson, Royal Collins Beesley.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Beesley of the home; three daughters, Jeanne Garcia of Pampa, Kristen Murrah of Pampa and Kelly Beesley of Pampa. He also leaves four grandsons; Cameron Beesley of Pampa, Cade Chaney of Pampa, Payne Beesley of Pampa, Grant Murrah of Pampa, and one granddaughter, Gracie Murrah of Dalhart as well as five great- grandsons, Payne Preston, Oliver, Bostyn, Braison, and Kohen and his siblings; Sue Muir, Barney Beesley, and Rick Beesley.
His memories will be cherished by his wife and three daughters.
Jim will be available for viewing on Friday, January 9th from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving visitors from 5:00 - 7:00 at Winegeart Funeral Home in the Serenity Chapel.
Celebration of Life Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10th, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in the Winegeart Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.
