James Andrew Bergstrom

James A. Bergstrom (Jim), 79, of Melbourne, FL, passed away on November 7th, 2025.
A private funeral service and burial with family members attending and military honors will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Hatboro, PA, on December 13th at 10am with Pastor Chad Purdue of Space Coast Baptist Church officiating.
Jim was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to Louis and Catherine Bergstrom on October 18th, 1946. He attended Bristol High school and graduated in 1964. He went on to serve for 22 years in the United States Airforce earning a Rank of Senior Master Sergent. After his military career Jim worked for Harrison School District 2 in Colorado Springs Colorado retiring in 2006.
As well as his Military Service, Jim was a man of lifelong Christian Service and a prayer warrior. Wherever God led him he pursued his faith with steadfastness and was ready to share the Gospel of Jesus with friends, family and to anyone within the sound of his gentle voice. He was always grateful for service from others making sure to acknowledge people by name and showing genuine appreciation for their work on his behalf. Jim also enjoyed the wonder and beauty of the western United States spending time camping and on many road trips to the out of the way gems in Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Utah.
Jim is survived by his wife, Esther his brother Louis (wife Jeanette), his sons, James (wife Jennifer), David (wife Lisa) and Michael (wife Heather) and grandchildren Alexander, Emily, Keenan, Michael, Nathaniel, and Tatianna. He is preceded in death by his father Louis and mother Catherine, first wife Diana and daughter Catherine. He will also be fondly remembered by extended family, and countless friends. Jim was a dedicated worker, a man of integrity, and a man that soldiered on through both times of blessing and adversity. He will be missed and those that knew him will celebrate with joy his homecoming to the loving arms of his Father in Heaven.
