James Boldra, age 77, passed away on January 12, 2026. He was born on April 30, 1948, to Robert and Corinne (Sherman) Boldra in Sioux City, Iowa.
James grew up in Iowa and spent much of his life enjoying the outdoors. He especially liked camping and fishing, activities that brought him peace.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Corinne Boldra, and his brother, Robert Dale Boldra.
James is survived by his children, Tammy Ernst (Ryan) and Angie Green (Andy); grandchildren, Johnathan Ernst, Nathaniel Ernst, Patrick Green, Joshua Green, and Samantha Green; siblings, Rita Hager, Faye Hampton, and Roger Boldra (Terri); as well as nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 - 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 25, at the American Legion Harvey T. Rimel Post 141, located at 104 N. Vine Street in Glenwood, Iowa.
