James William “J.W.” Boone, 85, of Laneview, passed away on February 27, 2026. Mr. Boone was born October 7, 1940, to the late Perry and Neva Boone.
Mr. Boone served our country in the United States Army. He was a member of Glebe Landing Baptist Church. During his working career J.W. was a franchise owner of a 7-Eleven convenience store as well as the Owner and Manager of Mobjack Marine Service and worked for Church View Septic until he retired. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. J. W. was an exceptional farmer by nature and had a green thumb.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brothers, Otie and Norman Boone.
He is survived by his children, Debi Stanley, Jamie Boone, Jeff Boone, Lisa Boone Lose and Lynnie Green; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and many nieces,nephews and cousins.
Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda, is assisting the family.
