James Bowery, age 79, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away on September 27, 2024, at Good Shepherd Care Center.
He was born on March 4, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri; a son of Charles "Ed" and Annice (Pitts) Bowery.
He was united in marriage to the love of his life Marie Anderson on July 1, 1972. James and Marie shared 52 beautiful years together at the time of his passing.
JimBo was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. He enjoyed doing yard work, working on and selling bicycles, watching wrestling, and having a milking shake or ice cream. Jimbo loved his dogs, but his most treasured time was spent with his family and friends. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
James is survived by wife, Marie Bowery, of the home; his daughters Anita Brents (Richard) and Barbara Smith (Bryan); his grandchildren Vanessa, Veronica, Zoey, Timothy, and Hannah; his great-grandson Carlos Brents; other relatives and many friends.
James was preceded by his parents Ed and Annice Bowery; Joyce Mathys and Edward Bowery Jr.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Camdenton United Methodist in Camdenton, Missouri.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the family.
