James greatest times were spent with his family and friends. He never met a stranger and his larger-than-life presence and booming voice could bring life to any room. James was a lifelong and loyal supporter of all things Cleveland Sports. He spent many days and nights watching the Browns, Guardians, and Cavaliers and if he wasnt watching the game with his dad, he was on the phone with him, his brother, cousins, and uncles talking about said game that was on. From a young age he had a deep affection for animals adopting and rescuing many of his familys pets over the years. He especially loved his dog Zoey of 15 years they shared a bond like no other. James had a passion for MMA and trained at Victory Gym in Akron where he met many close friends and lived out a dream of cage fighting. He will be missed by so many, but his memory will live on.
James is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rollin and Pat Braden; maternal grandparents, Pete and Elaine Cummings; uncle, James Patrick Cummings; uncle, Larry Cummings; and uncle, James Stewart with whom he shared a very deep and loving friendship. He is now reunited in death with his beloved dog Zoey, who he lost just a short time ago.
James is survived by his parents, William and Pamela Braden of Cambridge; his brother, Jared Braden of Columbus; his sister, Julie (Matt) Koenig of Cambridge; his beloved niece, Anna Hill, and nephew, Ricky Koenig, who he loved so very much; his multiple aunts and uncles: Brenda Stewart of Westerville, James (Cammie) Braden of Reynoldsburg, Beth (Jim Holmes) Braden of Cambridge, and Carol Braden of Cambridge; and several beloved cousins who held a very special place in his heart. His loyalty and love for his family was unmatched and it showed every time he was around them.
