James Edwin Bradshaw, 84, of Chapel Hill, North Carolina passed away at Mebane Ridge Assisted Living on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Joyce Aiken Bradshaw and son of the late Edwin Pope Bradshaw and the late Eunice McVey Bradshaw. James was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of Clover Garden United Methodist Church and retired processing engineer with Allied Signal which is now Honeywell International.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Stewart and her husband Kenny; granddaughter, Kimberly Stewart of Chapel Hill and grandson, Jonathan Stewart and his fiancé Jennifer Hajba of Burlington

Jimmy was known for his unwavering faith and love for his family. He was an avid fisherman and loved his time on the lake. He enjoyed woodworking, especially making ink pens, which he often gave to friends and family.

Special thanks to Lisa Jacobs and Carolina Home Stay, the wonderful staff at Mebane Ridge Memory Care and Gentiva Hospice for their loving care and support during Jimmy's journey.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home in Graham, North Carolina.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Clover Garden United Methodist Church (2757 Orange Chapel Clover Garden Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27516).

Flowers are welcome, but if you choose the family requests that memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2730 Tucker St #600, Burlington, NC 27215 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
