James Branum Obituary
James was preceded in death by his father, Chuck Branum.
He is survived by his daughter, Shawnna Tarleton of Texas. Two grandchildren, Katalaya Marie Brooks and Lay'venna Michelle, of Texas. His mother, Yvonne Coffman Douglas of Baxley; his stepfather, Danny Douglas of Baxley; and his brothers, Scott (Cheryl) Tillery of Baxley, David (Kathi) Purvis of Rincon, D.J. (Brooke) Douglas of Collins, David (Jan) Branum of Pensacola Florida, Josh Branum (Lacey) of Jacksonville Florida, and Matt Branum (Christy) of Augusta Georgia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles who will cherish his memory.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God in Baxley, Georgia, with the Reverend Ronnie Rentz officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the First Assembly of God.
Nobles Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. James Raymond Branum.
