Memorial services for James Taylor "Jimmy" Britain, Jr. will be held at a later date. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Britain, age 56, of Stonewall passed away on September 7, 2025 at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Jimmy was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and son. He was a determined man, often stubborn, but headstrong and willing to take on any battle before him. He was an avid Alabama Football fan (Roll Tide)! Jimmy had an infectious personality; he was quick witted, always having a joke ready. He loved with everything inside of him and was honorable and displayed integrity in any situation. He was never afraid to tell the truth and was never afraid to be blunt – if it meant steering his family in the right direction.

Survivors include his daughters, Brittany Britain and Alexis Britain; grandchildren, Tristan Milstead, Kashton Donald, and one on the way; mother, Seangpin "Tim" Rose; special friend, April Gibson and her son, Connor Moorehead; two siblings, Noot Dant (John) and Pun Guerrero (Bill); two nieces, Jaden Britain and McKenzie Dant; and one nephew, Phoenix Britain.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Taylor Britain, Sr., one brother, B.B. Britain, one aunt, Toy Jellenc; and his grandmother, Yai.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
