James Odell "Jimmie" Brown

James Odell “Jimmie” Brown, 26, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Born, February 20, 1999, he was a son of Joann Brown Campbell and Victor Campbell.

Jimmie was known for his kindness and was appreciated by everyone who knew him, often extending that warmth to strangers. He was a devoted father, husband, uncle, and brother, who cherished his family deeply. His passions included riding dirt bikes and playing video games. Jimmie was also recognized for his strong work ethic, always dedicating himself fully to everything he undertook. He had a special fondness for his truck and enjoyed his mother’s cooking, particularly her Chicken Pasta.

Jimmie leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Lauren Michelle Simpson; a son, Elliott Lee Brown; his parents, Joann and Victor Campbell of Cheraw, SC; a father figure, Russell Fenters of Hartsville, SC; brothers, Logan Campbell of Carthage, NC, Tristan McDonald (Leah) of Bennettsville, SC, and Ian Campbell of Cheraw, SC; sisters, Kristen Gainey of Hartsville, SC, Jennifer Campbell of Cheraw, SC, and Sabrena Presnell (Timothy) of Cheraw, SC; and several nephews.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life in memory of Jimmie at a later date.

Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Brown family in their time of grief.
