EATON — James C. "Jim" Bulach, 90, of Eaton, passed away on Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton.
He was born June 4, 1934, in Franklin County, Indiana, to the late Victor Heronimus and Elizabeth Ann (Kraus) Bulach. Jim was a U.S. Army veteran who served from 1956 to 1958 and was stationed for a year in Iceland; he was a longtime Preble County dairy farmer; was a member of the Visitation Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus; was a member of the Lewisburg Promenaders Square Dancing Club; was an avid bowler, bowling at the Preble Lanes for many years; and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and all types of hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Lawrence Bulach and Richard Bulach; sisters Dorothy Schulte, Mildred Ramsey and Sister Ritamary Bulach; and daughter-in-law Gail Bulach.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Judith Bulach; children Jim Bulach, Tim (Carol) Bulach, Beverly (Tom) Albert, Doug (Jackie) Bulach, Jeff Bulach, Brian (Tonya) Bulach and Robert (Jessica) Bulach; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Tom (Mary) Bulach and John (Elaine) Bulach; sister Gertrude Schneider; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Friday, Dec. 13, from 9-11 a.m. at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 407 E. Main Street, Eaton. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton.
