James F Burdette age 87 passed away on August 20, 2025. He was born October 27, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio to Norman and Florenece (Donalds) Burdette. He was employed for thirty seven years as a water inspector for the city of Columbus Water Division. He served in the United States Airforce during the Korean war. He enjoyed playing cards and camping out with his family. He was proceeded in death by his parents Norman and Florence Burdette, his brothers Charles, Bob, Bill and Russell, his sisters Betty and Elsie. He is survived by his sister Pearl Avena (Joe) and brother Terry Lee (Vanda) Burdette along with his children and grandchildren Tracy (Betty) Burdette (Michael, Shane, Jesse, Josh, DJ & Weinsday), Patricia (Timmy) Blackburn (Anna, Travis, Melissa), Michelle (Garatt) Edsall (Kayla and Alex) Maxine Monroe (Cody and Courtney) and many great grandchildren. A celebration of life will follow at a later date.
