Larry Eugene Burdette, 77, of Dennison, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio, following an illness of several months. Born March 21, 1948 in Dennison, he was the last surviving son of the late Harry Lee and Blanche Mae (Hines) Burdette, having been preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, Paul, Everett "Burdie", Ray, and Harry "Buss" Junior Burdette, as well as a sister, Nancy Grove.

Larry was a lifelong area resident and graduate of Claymont High School who had operated his own business, Larry's Mowing Service. He also was employed by the City of Uhrichsville for a number of years. In retirement, he loved going to the Rogers Auction and spending time with his faithful canine companions.

He leaves behind his daughter, Hope Longaberger; grandsons, Donald Stiteler and Madden Longaberger; great-granddaughter, Lillian Stiteler; sisters and brother-in-law, Helen Wilson and Alice and Chuck Colletti; numerous nieces and nephews, including several who were especially dear to Larry and had been instrumental in his care during his final illness; and his longtime friend, Louie.

Pastor Kory Rowland will officiate a noon funeral on Thursday, August 28, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville's Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to noon on Thursday, prior to the service. Those wishing to honor Larry's memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to the American Kidney Fund.
