Remembering this fine man is not difficult, the hard part is that he is not with us anymore. For years I looked forward to a reunion with Jim and Karen, but now know that that reunion will take place in Heaven. We pray that Karen and the family are doing well and adjusting to life without this wonderful man.

Jim was one of the most kind and gentle men I´ve ever met. He was an amazing husband and father. I´m sure heaven had a reservation with his name on it. You will be missed but never forgotten.

My heart is sad for Karen the the family but rejoices as my old Air Force colleague and friend has gone on to be with his Savior. Jim came to Seymour Johnson AFB in 1972 and I was his "trainer" but he knew so much more about meteorology than I so all I had to do was help him learn the Air Force way of doing things. Over our time together we became close friends and I spent a lot of time at his and Karen's home in the evenings when we were both off of work. I am forever reminded of his soft and sweet spirit and know that Karen and his family will miss that spirit, but trust that the Lord will wrap His arms of peace and comfort around them during these days.
