James F. Canning, 82, of Meriden, husband of Susan Canning, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on December 12th, 2025, after a brief illness. His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., on Monday, December 29th, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. His funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
