James Cappa Obituary
Jim and wife of 31 years, Sharon Mathews, lived in Burien Washington until they moved to Maple Valley, Washington, in 1976 where they raised their three children: Allen, Jimmy, and Carrie. Jim was employed full time at Hormel Meats in Seattle for 19 years, and subsequently worked together with his wife Sharon in their successful housekeeping business "Cappa's Housekeeping" until his retirement in 1995.
In August of 1997, Jim then married Adelle Josten and relocated to Casa Grande Arizona for a few years, spending summers in Rapid City South Dakota. In 2010 they moved east to Florence, Arizona. Jim and Addie's final move together was to Madras, Oregon in 2017, where they resided until Adelle passed away in February 2020.
Jim was active in the fraternal organization the Eagles and was elected as president of the Renton Eagles 1991-1992. Jim is survived by his second wife, Sharon, brothers John and Donald, and sisters Ellen and Kay. Also survived by two sons, Allen and Jim, and daughter Carrie (by Sharon), and two daughters Julie and Jeri by first wife Jean, four grandchildren Alicia and Cole (Carrie), Pierce and Wade (Jim), and one great granddaughter Mia (Alicia).
A Memorial service is planned for 6:00 pm, Friday, June 16, St Andrews Church in Sumner WA.
