Rosanne Cappa, 78, of Mattydale, passed away peacefully on Monday December 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Rosanne was born in Syracuse on September 14, 1947 daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Gallucci. She worked as a social worker for Onondaga County for many years. She was also employed by CNY Works for a brief period. Ro loved her Motown Music and enjoyed time at the beach. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Rosanne was predeceased by her daughter, Traci (Cappa) Collins.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Cappa) Beebe, son Richard Cappa, Jr., sister, Stephanie (Peter) Basla, son-in-law, William Collins, grandchildren, Anthony (Kayley) Collins, Richard Cappa, Nicholas Cappa, Nicole Beebe, Alexandra (Alex) Arkerson, Brandon Beebe, great grandson, Cash Collins, and her nephew Jason Basla.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 16, 2025 from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, N. Syracuse, with services at 6pm.
