Lori Jean Cappa went to heaven on November 1, 2025, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Lori was born on August 21, 1958, and was the eldest of five children born to Bud and Connie Cappa.
Lori was endlessly proud of her two sons, Robert (Jen) and Joseph (Valerie), and she adored her five grandchildren-Mia, Ava, Sofia, Joey, and Francesca.
Lori was hardworking, compassionate, and deeply spiritual. Before retiring, Lori worked as a massage therapist, caring for cancer patients at Stanford Hospital. She was respected by her colleagues and cherished by her patients for her healing hands and kind heart.
Lori will be dearly missed by her family, lifelong friends, neighbors, dog-walking group, and especially her loyal companion, Sammy.
Every time you see a butterfly, take a moment to smile and say a prayer for Lori. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

My deepest condolences to Robert and Joey. The love she holds in her heart for the both of you is eternal. My condolences to her brothers and sisters and her extended family. The heavens are rejoicing because a very special woman has gone home. How blessed we are that you touched all of our lives with your love. You will always be imprinted in our hearts. I deeply miss the sound of your voice and your presence in my life. May your spirit and soul soar in the heavens and may your enjoy the music you love, the songs you love to sing and how you especially love to dance. You will illuminate the heavens just like you did here on earth with your kindness and gentleness.

Lori was such a beautiful and kind soul. Our family had wonderful dinners and holidays together. As we had our own families, our lives kept us too busy for getting together often. Our family reunions will always be remembered and cherished. We've lost too many to this horrible cancer!
