James Edward Carter, Jr.
James Edward Carter Jr. (Jim Jim, Boo Boo, Baby Jimmy, Slim Jim) was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania on April 22, 1997, to the late James Carter Sr. and Cynthia Antonini-Carter. He was born the third of four children. After dealing with a mental illness that eventually took over, James was called home to be with his father on October 6, 2024.
Jim Jim grew up in Wayne, Pa where he attended New Eagle Elementary, Valley Forge Middle, and Conestoga High School. While in middle school, James engaged in basketball and football, being a part of their football championship his 8th grade year. As he went on to attend high school, James was an every season athlete, he took part in playing football- #22, being their cornerback and wide receiver. As well as being a runner, he ran track in the winter and spring, this was his safe haven. After graduating, he went to West Chester University where he studied Sports Nutrition and Physical Therapy.
As a child, he was always so loving, quiet, caring and kind. He loved music and listening to his favorite rapper Eminem. And boy, you couldn't tell him anything about the New Orlean Saints! He used to enjoy running around with his cousins and childhood friends. Their shenanigans consisted of playing manhunt, ding dong ditch, basketball, football and putting water bottles in their bikes to make it sound like a motorcycle. Wherever their imagination took them is where they went. Jim Jim was pure, he had a personality that was one of a kind. Some may say he was a comedian with quite a sense of humor, always cracking the craziest jokes or making the funniest faces. His friends say they'll always remember him for his smile and having a laugh like no other.
As he grew older, Jim Jim took pleasure in still spending time with family and friends but he also poured into himself. He found love in the gym, video games, running and nature. He loved different sceneries. He was a neat freak and very particular about certain things but he took his routines very seriously. He also took light in spending time with his dog Ledger, who became one of his best friends. He worked in demolition for quite some time but he also enjoyed laying carpet with his Uncle Billy whenever he could.
Besides always being so goofy, he made sure to always take care of the ones he loved no matter what it was. He was very strong, loyal and honest and always there for the people he cared about. Jim Jim took pride in being a brother, little and big and never played about his siblings. He was there for them and wanted to protect them under any circumstances. His love for his parents is forever unconditional and he loved being an uncle. All he ever wanted was for them to be happy and feel loved.
Jim Jim was loved by many and will forever hold a special place in everyone's heart, he left this earth way too soon but his memory will forever live on.
Jim Jim leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Cynthia (Cindi) Antonini-Carter. Three siblings, Jeffrey Antonini (Carolina), Phylicia Antonini, and Christina Carter. One Nephew, Carmine Antonini and two nieces Italia and Bella Antonini. As well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends. James was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Carter Sr; four Grandparents William Carter Sr., Gloria Carter, S. Paul Antonini, and Susan Antonini. Four uncles, David and Raymond Antonini, Charles (Chicci) Carter, and Purcell (PJ) Carter and two aunts, Martha Jane and Shirley Carter.
