Mr. James Monroe "Jim" Cashman

Mr. James Jim Monroe Cashman, of Tacoma, Washington, born on July 28, 1931 in Cauldwell, Washington, to the late Daisy Lilly Cashman and the late Elmer M Cashman, passed away at age 87 on August 7, 2018 in Port Angeles, Washington. From 1952 to 1954, James served in the Army in the Korean War and he also worked in the Timber industry as a bushler at Cashman & Son s until he retired in 2001. James was married to Annette (Kildal) Cashman for 56 years. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Cashman and Joseph Cashman; and sisters, Daisy S Sager, Virginia Signorello, and Roseline Cashman. James is survived by his sons, James K Cashman and Ernest M Cashman; daughters, Roxanne M Strouf and Robin A Cashman; brother, Ernest Cashman; and grandchildren, Susan M Gibson, Renae M Strouf, T.J. Cashman, Patrick J Strouf, and Chaela M Cashman. James hobbies included bowling, poker, reading, sudoku, cross word puzzles, and going to the coffee shop every morning. The family will have a Celebration of James life in September.
