James Castelli

James P. Castelli, 41, died at home in Waterford, CT in August 2022. James was raised in Farmington, CT and graduated from Farmington High School in 1999. He was a generous person with a great sense of humor. James excelled at every sport he played and was a dedicated fan of his beloved NY Yankees. He was a born foodie who enjoyed cooking for others. James was an accomplished poker player and even earned a poker room jacket for getting a royal flush at Foxwoods. He liked to travel and spend time fishing on Martha's Vineyard.

He is survived by his mother, Paula Castelli, of Punta Gorda, FL; father, Donald Castelli, of Punta Gorda, FL; sisters Sarah Castelli and her husband, Brian Bouchard, of Unionville, CT; Molly Castelli Sawrun and her husband, Dereck Sawrun, of Venice, FL; niece Clementine Sawrun; aunt and uncle, Karen and Robert Nolan, of Rotunda West, FL; cousin, Jeffrey Brushie and his family, of San Diego, CA; and devoted friend Stephanie Koegler and her family, of Madison, CT.
