James Cavallaro, beloved father and friend, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025 at the age of 80.

Born on June 17, 1945, James was raised in Middle Village, Queens, New York, where he spent much of his life., James was a proud military veteran, a lover of history, and an avid sports fan.

James gave generously of his time and energy to youth athletics. He coached Pop Warner football for the Greenpoint Crusaders in Brooklyn, serving as a positive influence and role model to countless young athletes. After moving with his wife, Dianne, and their family to Freehold, New Jersey in the mid-1980s, James continued his devotion to coaching, playing an active role in his children's sports, and becoming a familiar face at local games and community events.

Those who knew James will remember his quick wit, sense of humor, and undeniable charm. Always ready with a joke, a smile, or a helping hand, he brought light and laughter into the lives of those around him. He was the kind of man who never hesitated to give a ride, lend support, or brighten someone's day.

James was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dianne, his brother, Charles, and his parents, Charlie and Frances. He is survived by his three loving children, Daryl, Laura, and Bryan, who will carry forward his legacy.

He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him
